Join us for a life drawing session inspired by Contact Improvisation.

 

In this lightly facilitated drawing session, artists will have the opportunity to sketch one or more models exploring solo, duet, and possibly trio dynamics. Models will move through a series of short to progressively longer poses, emphasizing weight sharing expressiveness, and connection, providing rich observational artistic opportunities.

 

The life drawing session will be before the weekly jam so we can follow the drawing with some dancing.

 

All experience levels are welcome—just bring your sketchbook and openness to creative exploration. It's about the process, not the product.
